Yiliu liu is a professor at the Department of Mechanical and IndustrialEngineering, Norwegian University of Science and Technology. His main researchinterests include system reliability and resilience, safety-critical system andsafety barrier analysis, and risk-informed decision-making etc. He recently paysmore attention to the applications of his research in the sectors of renewableenergies and sustainability. Dr. Liu has published more than 200 papers oninternational journals and conferences. Currently, he is the co-chair of Sweden.Norway joint section of lEEE Reliability Society, and the editor-in-chief forInternational Journal of Reliability and Safety, and the director of InternationaRAMS (reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety) master program atNTNU. He also manages several internationally collaborative proiects in thefields of safetyandreliabilityengineering.
